Salvation is nigh for fall term...

Hey all,

Fall term has in short been a meat grinder. Organic chem I and Genetics are a tough combo, and I'll consider myself lucky if I can come out of this term with at least B's in both of these science classes (English class I'm putting in hardly any effort and still to my knowledge getting an A. Go figure.)

Finals start on Monday for me, with Genetics up first.

So basically I'm holed up in my dorm doing nothing but studystudystudy for my two science finals. After that I will be taking a well-anticipated break when my family goes to Michigan to be with some cousins for Thanksgiving. ...I'll be wearing my 2013 Blackhawks Stanley cup champs t-shirt at the very least to rub it in a little with my Wings fan cousins, and hopefully I'll come back alive.

Very excited for D-term, will be continuing the water mold project I jumped on with last year, though this time in addition to being more of the same I'll be focusing more on collecting water samples and sequencing DNA instead of PCR.

And as the holidays are coming up, a lot of us are worrying about financial issues. In addition to a feature, I hope you'll consider a commission from . She is the daughter of my dear favorite high school teacher, and is hitting a rough spot in her art business.
